This is by far my favorite book beside the Bible; in it Charles Spurgeon who himself is a testimony to the power God; delivers daily sermonette based on scripture one for the morning and one for the evening for each day of the year. It is amazing how many times I have turned to this book in time of distress and God by His providence and grace had me reading something that applied to me for that day or time in my life. Mr. Spurgeon seems keen insight into the word of God is evidence that he must of poured over and and through God’s word continually. A great daily addition to your Bible reading.
